Investigation/Remediation of Existing Pool at Charlotte Towers

This project involved the investigation of an existing internal pool and surrounding concourse within a Hotel complex. The existing timber decking surrounding the pool was decayed with mould and fungal growth, causing a health hazard to the building occupants.

Izzat completed the site investigations, and design for the new waterproofing and concourse replacement works. Pavers suspended on raised plastic jacking supports was selected as the repair solution for the humid internal environment.

Construction inspections were undertaken during repair works. Izzat Consulting provided the documentation, design, detailed construction plans and details and technical specification for the repair works.
