Carpark Extension, John Hunter Hospital

Izzat Consulting Engineers was engaged to undertake a design review, and detailed design, for an extension to the P4 Carpark at John Hunter Hospital. The project included the extension of the existing carpark to make use of unused adjacent space to accommodate additional car parking spaces, including modifications to the stormwater system.

A large gabion retaining wall structure was incorporated into the design to enable the carpark extension to extend as close as possible to an existing above ground detention tank.
