Izzat Consulting Engineers is pleased to announce this year’s Rugby Union Scholar, Campbell Scott. Campbell is undertaking his 3rd year of his Bachelor of Civil Engineering and is a member of The University of Newcastle Seahorse Rugby Union 1st grade team. Born and bred in Bathurst, Campbell began his Rugby playing junior rugby League with Bathurst’s St. Patricks from U/7 through to first grade U/18’s. Campbell began playing Rugby Union in year 12 in 2013 for the St. Stanislaus College 1st XV in the Student School Association (ISA) competition.

In 2015 Campbell joined the University of Newcastle Seahorses in his first year of his studies, as well as being selected to represent the Hawthorne Club in Rugby 7’s. Unfortunately, a major knee injury didn’t allow Campbell to play in 2016, however Campbell has rejoined the Seahorses this year playing in the first-grade team where he plays various outside back positions.

Izzat is proud to be supporting Campbell on and off the field.
