Izzat Consulting Engineers are proud to announce that they are celebrating 20 years in business.
The Engineering practice was born from a construction detailing firm which John Dockrill commenced in 1975. Dockrill Consulting Engineers was then established in 1989 and the company has built a solid reputation for efficient project co-ordination, innovative design and meticulous attention to detail.
Although there was a name change in 2006 to Izzat Consulting Engineers, the original founder and partners remain the same, and a new Partner joined the firm in 2007.
Izzat derives its name from the Indian sub-continent and translates as dignity, honour and reputation, core values by which this proud firm has always operated.
In the past 20 years Izzat has developed its reputation in the core area of structural and civil engineering design, and from this have developed specific expertise in the specialist areas of corrosion and asset control, fabric shade structures and durability assurance.
Izzat have focused on providing excellent service whilst delivering smart engineering solutions for the benefit of the project and clients. The development of Izzat’s expertise has lead to this Hunter based firm servicing clients throughout Australia.
Izzat have a client list which covers a broad range of business sectors, some of which have enjoyed an ongoing professional relationship for more than 10 years. Client business sectors include, manufacturing industries, mining and related industries, chemical and processing facilities, power generators, waste disposal, materials handling, water and wasterwater, food processing facilities, government buildings, public infrastructure, resort facilities and residential construction.
Izzat have also placed emphasis on education and training and as such have focused on the development of their staff and are active in their support of Universities, Industry and professional associations
